Usually there are two main methods under which baking soda can be used for effective treatment and removal of skin tags.
Method 1 (Castor Oil)
In this method, baking soda is mixed with castor oil, which softens the tissue and breaks them down whereas baking soda exfoliates the dead tissue, which has been broken down. With proper mixture of baking soda and castor oil create a thick paste just be aware to use the equal volume of both products. To start the treatment you have to apply the castor oil directly to the skin and allow it to soak for few minutes. Afterwards cover the area with paste and allow it to remain on the site for almost 24 hours. Repeat the procedure once or twice in a week until skin tags come off from the skin.
Method 2 (Sour Apple Juice)
All the procedure is same as mentioned above only instead of castor oil you have to use Sour apple juice for creating a paste with baking soda. Just make sure that the paste you create has equal amounts of both the ingredient, as high amount of baking soda would irritate the skin. To eliminate any dilemma about the right amount of ingredients you can conduct a sensitivity taste before applying the paste directly on the skin tags.
